FREQUENTLY ASKED BOUDOIR QUESTIONS

Q: ARE YOU FEMALE STAFFED?

A: Yes, exclusively. We guarantee you will feel super comfortable and additionally, we work only with clients who identify as female - with the exclusion of couples photography.

Q: WILL YOU POSE ME?

A: Of course. This is probably our most asked question. We believe this is one of our great skills - getting non-models to pose (and look!) like models. We absolutely get that this is nerve-wracking but it doesn't have to be! We've posed and captured hundreds of women, all of whom felt a lot like you in the beginning - nervous and excited. We walk you through every step of the process and you will be owning it in no time.

Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
This experience is an investment, one that you will likely only ever do once (okay… unless you are one of many of our clients who have found themselves doing it as many as 3 times lol). Packages are set and non-negotiable. Send us an email for more details and we will give you all the info!

Q: HOW EXPERIENCED ARE YOU?
A: Very. Not to toot our own horn but we have Bachelor's Degrees in Photography AND we've been doing this for many years. It's not a whim and you aren't our guinea pig, we have literally photographed hundreds of clients. It's a passion - and we love, love, love it! 

Q: HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
A: Sessions typically book out about three weeks or more in advance, weekends always going faster than week days - so if you are interested in a date soon or for a particular deadline like a wedding or anniversary - please let us know ASAP!

* Clients must be 18 years of age or older to book a boudoir session!

Q: DO YOU PROVIDE MAKEUP & HAIR?
A: Yes. It is an option and not included in every package, but it is a highly encouraged add on we provide. We truly believe you will want to have one of our artists be a part of your shoot. There are several reasons the make-up artist is a must-have: while of course we want you to be pampered, blushed, lined, bronzed, lip-sticked and glossed into luxury for obvious reasons: it's FUN but we have also found this to be an essential part of the fun and empowering process of a boudoir shoot with us.

Q: WHERE DOES THE SESSION TAKE PLACE?
A: The sessions take place at your home. Believe it or not you don’t have to do a ton of work to get your home boudoir ready - just simplifying your bedroom and a handful of other things and you are ready to rock! When we arrive we will do any needed re-arranging while you relax and get your hair and makeup done IN YOUR OWN HOME! We find it also lends an additional level of comfort - and sexiness - that you are doing your images in your own domain!

Q: DO YOU DO RETOUCHING?
A: YES. We do custom retouching. No phony filters here, you know the look. The images you purchase will get the luxury treatment and we'll hook you up. Let us know if you have a spot that is particularly sensitive and we'll pose you too with that in mind. Not only are we pro photographers but we are also trained in graphic design. However, all this being said - we believe you should still look like YOU. It’s important that we impart to you this message: your body, as it is, is beautiful.

Q: DO YOU DO BOUDOIR FOR THE FULLER FIGURED POPULATION?
A: YES, yes, yes. We love curves and have a lot of our own going on here too ;) We get that it can be a sensitive topic, but we will pose you in just the right way and show you off. We assure you that every client who has come to us for a shoot is just like you and me : totally nervous and not knowing what to expect and they all walked away a glowing goddess with a snap in their step!

Q: DO YOU PROVIDE WARDROBE?
A: No.  Everyone's body is so different and besides, you don't want to be wearing someone else's lingerie anyway! Each body is as unique as your personality and you should find something that fits you perfectly. In our telephone consultation before your shoot date, we can discuss your ideas for your images and what your ultimate vision is and what you want to wear. We can also make suggestions as to what you should purchase for your wardrobe, which can guide you in the right direction as far as what will be most flattering and work best for your unique session. We even frequently consult with clients via phone from the dressing room! We are here for you.

Q: HOW LONG DOES THE SHOOT LAST?
A: It depends on the package you choose. Let us know what you want to achieve and we'll help you pick the package right for you!
